For her kindness and generosity,

I dedicate this album to Dena Wright

Acknowledgements

The tradition of artists crediting others, through albums

of music, movie dedications, anthologies of the written word  or indeed any creative output, is an old one.

It is one of the few opportunities one has to thank

people who have supported and encouraged you

through a particular endeavor and have believed

in you when others have not.

Also a chance to acknowledge those who have

supported you in life, sometimes without

them even knowing and even from afar.

I don't wish to be an exception to that

tradition, so here are my thanks:

Hallelujah!

For encouragement and belief:

Michel François, Sue Adams, Martha, Llew,

Max and Bella Gittens,

Paula Cornford-Cousins (constructive criticism!)

For moral support (at any time):

DJ Cunningham, Ken MacIndoe, Michel, Martha, Paula

For being there:

Kath Ashley, Eric Rush, Katie Rush,

Karen Jessep, Manu Villers, Diane Specq

For those who bring joy:

my two beautiful daughters, Rachel and Kaiyene and little Kayden Wright....and laughter: Sean Lock, Jimmy Carr, Jon Richardson, Alex Zane, Arnie & his Soundboards.

For a genuine smile when needed:

Manu Pomart

and the lady down at Gizem, the Turkish bakery in 7Kings

For tech support:

Dena Wright, DJ.Cunningham, Chris and Joey, Wix.com.

For keeping me sane:

Philip S Dolby, Hewey Packard,  A. E MacIntosh,

White Boots the cat and Bob the fat pigeon

For inspiration:

Among many; David Bowie, Jacques Brel, Scott Walker,

John Collier, Leon Bonnat, Auguste Rodin, Simon Baker, Matthew McConaughey, George Carlin, Bill Hicks, Russell Brand and other artists, alive or dead, too numerous to mention; be they painters, sculptors, musicians, writers, poets, singers, actors, dancers, comedians, entertainers - indeed, anybody who has ever created, or creates, with PASSION.
